Note
A major local event. The Royal Adelaide Show is held annually by not-for-profit organisation the Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society of SA (RA&HS), https://www.theshow.com.au/, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Adelaide_Show. The date is determined by a formula set by the RA&HS. It traditionally runs for nine days, starting on the first Saturday in September, and intentionally includes the first weekend and the second Sunday of the month. Because the calendar shifts every year, the Society’s council establishes the exact dates to align with this formula, ensuring it accommodates the September school holidays and other agricultural circuit events whenever possible.
